Brake is a mechanical device which is used to stopping the vehicle.  in physics language brake is a mechanical component which has convert the kinetic energy into the heat energy.

                               restrict the motion of vehicle like Car, Bus, Truck, Bicycle etc. called brake.

many type of brake used in vehicle like Air Brake, Hydraulic Brake,Electromagnetic Brake etc.

air brake used in H.D. (heavy duty) like commercial vehicle and hydraulic brake used in L.M.D.(light medium duty) vehicle. like Bus, Car etc.

Type of Brake:

• Air Brake
• Hydraulic Brake
• Electromagnetic Brake

In air brake air pressurized through air compressor up-to 8 bar (for heavy duty vehicle) and deliver it to the air tank then distribute to the SBA (spring brake actuator) when driver apply the brake then compressed air push the actuator caused by stop the vehicle.

Hydraulic brake work on pressurized fluid when driver push down the brake then pressure create in vacuum and it push the brake master cylinder through master cylinder pressurized oil pass from the  fluid pressure pipe to the wheel cylinder piston which moves out toward brake show and brake show push up to the drum then vehicle get stopped.

Electromagnetic brake work on the basis of electric motor.
